Exploring belief and hope through the music of John Adams, Gavin Bryars, Arvo Pärt and Vivaldi.

The first in a new concert series in partnership with Tramshed Tech, Cardiff’s forward-thinking tech and creative workspace, #BowDown will combine an eclectic programme of incredible music with film projections, in a beautiful former industrial space. The entire concert will be streamed online, broadcast live on the Sinfonia Cymru Facebook page. To visit the Sinfonia Cymru Facebook page click here.

The concert begins with the beautiful ‘Santo Sepolcro’ by Vivaldi, which fades into John Adams’ rousing Shaker Loops. We then move onto the sacred music of Arvo Pärt. The concert ends with Gavin Bryars’ haunting and mesmerizing Jesus’ Blood Never Failed Me Yet.

This concert is comprised of three sets of music. Each set will be approximately twenty minutes long, with a ten-minute interval between each set. Doors open at 8pm, music starts at 8.30pm.
